Wolviston is a small village on the outskirts of Billingham. The school is situated opposite the village green.

Wolviston Primary School is a community school within Stockton-on-Tees Local Authority, for children between the ages of 4 and 11. From January 2008 there are 107 pupils on roll. In addition, there is a 13-place nursery on site, catering for 26 part-time pupils aged 3 and 4 years.
